If you saw this alert while trying to connect to WiFi, it may be because you are using a Joule registered to another user. In that case, you can still use this Joule with Bluetooth. To connect to WiFi, you can ask the owner of the Joule in question to disconnect Joule from within their Joule app, or you can sign in with the owner’s chefsteps.com username and password.
If you are the owner and you receive this message, we suggest you perform a factory reset and pair again (instructions below). And sorry for your trouble! Joule can’t wait to get back to cooking with you.
How to perform a factory reset if you are already Joule's owner and unable to connect to WiFi:
1. Plug in Joule. (If Joule is already plugged in, unplug it and then plug it in again.)
2. Immediately press the top button and hold it for eight seconds, until the light begins blinking yellow.
3. Once the light becomes steady and white, the factory reset is complete.
