The Control Freak Home has three intensity settings: fast, medium, and slow. The intensity allows you to control the rate at which the Control Freak Home gets up to temperature.
- Fast gives super quick and hot intensity and is good for boiling water, pancakes, or searing.
- Medium is great for eggs, hollandaise, and other items that are temperature-sensitive but are going to be whisked or stirred during cooking.
- Slow is useful when you are trying to cook exactly to a specific degree – like for tempering chocolate or proofing dough. It is the most precise and is for when you do not want to go a single degree over the set point.
